I am currently the owner of a 1979 Jeep CJ-7, much to my wife's chagrin.  I bought it back when I was single and had "stupid money" to spend as I pleased.   The jeep is currently in various states of disrepair, but it still runs like a champ and gets around town.  It needs a new clutch, and when I get it done maybe I'll put a litte blurb here about it.  Also, by "get it done" I mean "I will do it" and not take it to a shop.  That's the mark of a Jeep lover.   Check out the links on the left to see some projects that i have undertaken with the Jeep.  Notice that most of the projects with the Jeep seem to involve Grandpa Vande Water, or Grandpa Vande Water's garage.  This is because the man is a genius, and I would be less of a person today if I did not know him.  It is also because he has more tools and seemingly useless stuff in his garage than any sane person might reasonably have.  You may have observed that I said "seemingly useless."   I've been mighty thankful on several occaisons for that stuff.  Stuff is "seemingly useless" only to those with underdeveloped imaginations.
