Day 8

Thursday June 11, 1998

Painting and Bible School continued today. Tom and Meghan VandeWater arrived about 3:30pm. They drove out after the girls sofball regional loss on Tuesday night. After a long, hard day of work, the women set off for the sweat lodge.(pictured below) It was a very relaxing and spiritual experience that was supposed to make you feel like you were in the womb of Mother Earth. The majority of the women had never sweat so much in their lives.

After returning from the sweat we assembled in the church for a short prayer, and to talk about the experiences we had had so far.
