Day 12

Monday June 15, 1998

Last day in Tohatchi. We all will miss the early mornings, the paint chips, and the unforgetable children from Bible School, but none of us will miss the bugs as much as Joe! ;-) We spent the day trying to finish up painting, scraping, and cleaning up, in hopes of being able to leave, knowing we had made a significant contribution to the Tohatchi community. The evening was filled with laughter and smiles, along with some silly attempts at making fry bread. Bags half packed, not knowing exactly what tomorrow will bring, thanks to Fr. John's secrecy! ;-) tonight, sleep may prove a difficult ally to come by.
