Day 15

Thursday June 18, 1998

We were on the road again at 7:30am this morning and headed for home. Just 550 more miles and we would be back with our "native" families. Although the trip was great, it seemed that everyone was ready to return. We passed the Arch as we came through St. Louis but didn't get a picture of it. As we entered into Illinois, we saw numerous Semis pulled over by the State Police. The speed limit for large trucks is only 55mph in ILL. We were lucky to complete the entire trip with only one encounter with the police. Ask Fr. John what that was all about the next time you see him. It didn't result in a violation or ticket, but there is an interesting story behind it!

I will leave the rest of this page for comments about the trip from the rest of the members. If you want to comment on the trip, e-mail me at: tjvandew@seidata.com by clicking on this link! These pages were built by many of the members of our group during our trip. Questions and comments about the trip can also be sent to Fr. John Meyer at: popeace@seidata.com
