Day 1
Thursday June 4, 1998
The group gathered at 4:30am at the Prince of Peace Catholic Community Center in Madison, IN on Thursday June 4, 1998. Although it was early, spirits were high. By 5:00am the trailer was loaded and after a short prayer, everyone climbed in the vans, and began the journey to Tohatchi, New Mexico. It was a long day of driving across the midwestern plains. A cold front moved through and it was cold and rainy most of the day. We arrived in Oklahoma City, Okla. and spent the night at the Clarion Hotel. That same day Terry Nichols was sentenced to life in prison without parole in connection with the bombing of the Federal Building in Oklahoma City.

Kelly Armbrecht and Allyson Gavin happy to be on their way!!
